There are many reasons why a couple may choose to have a reaffirmation of their vows. The most common reason to renew your marriage vows is on the occasion of a significant anniversary.

The ceremony format is arranged similarly to a marriage. However, there is one essential element that must be clearly expressed to all those present – that the ceremony is a renewal and not an official marriage ceremony.

The introduction should tell a story – your story, the growth of your love and relationship over the years……the good, the bad, the happy, the sad. It is a celebration of all that you have achieved and experienced as a couple.

There are various rituals that can involve family if you would like to acknowledge children and the strength you have as a family unit. A sand ceremony, candle lighting and the sharing of wishes, are a few examples.

A non-refundable booking fee of $150 is required to secure your date and ceremony time in my diary. The booking fee can be paid at our first meeting or via direct deposit within 7 days of our meeting. The balance is payable one week prior to your ceremony date.

My fee includes performing your ceremony in your home or at a location within the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland & Pokolbin Vineyard areas only. Additional fees may apply for travel to other areas.
